GLS?
G-Wagon?
LX?
QX80?
Escalade?
Range Rover?
Yukon Denali?
Land Cruiser?
Cayenne Turbo?
Navigator?
This is surprisingly a very difficult question imo

XC90 T8 R-Design

Probably a G-wagen. Though I have a silly interest in the Navigator.

LC

I didn’t put that in just like I didn’t put the Q7 in because they’re juuuuuuuust a bit smaller than the LUXUVs on that list

ahh totally forgot about the navigator, will have to add it. I’ll be more interested when the Expedition and Navigator get redesigned in 2018 though

G wagen. I know you said money isn’t an object but I’m assuming that’s for buying. It will hold its value better, and it’s probably one of the only ones that won’t look outdated in 20 years.

Land Cruiser
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:24 |

Cayenne Turbo or G-Wagon if I can get the 6x6.
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:24 |

Hidden option: build Viper-powered SRT-10 Durango or refurbish and modify a diesel Excursion with Banks power and a custom leather interior.

Escalade because of the Volvo-esque tail lights

If I didn’t have to pay for repairs.
If I did.
I would pick the standard LC, but you can’t get one in Canada. So LX it is.

Land Cruiser. Not only is it the most reliable option(time is money, and waiting on a tow truck is wasted time), but it also retains it’s value the best.

I had a 2005 V10 diesel Excursion for a summer! My buddies and I lived at a lakehouse and we needed to tow a buddies’ dad’s boat and all 8 of us and the eddie bauer excursion did the trick. Bought it for 10k with 175k on the clock (a steal I though) and sold it back for 12k having only cleaned it thoroughly and added a trailer ball hitch and 180k on the clock.

6x6? or 4x4^2?
hmmm

Xc90, only SUV im really interested in tbh. Not my preference in cars really.
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:29 |

haha do you think they’ll ever restyle the g wagon?
I’m gonna say no.
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:30 |

Yeah I love the XC90 but it’s not a proper LUXUV. it’s an amazing Luxury SUV but there’s clearly a level above it. XC90 is in the “attainable” class of suvs (merc gle, x5, q7, f pace etc etc included)
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:30 |

The land cruiser/lx votes on here pleases me. It’s nice to see people finally looking past the bland to the warm nougaty center.

Bentley Bentayga.

The new LX interior makes me wet. The LC/LX are the only toyota products I actively lust for
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:33 |

Ah I see what youre getting at. Not really sure in that class. Id just go buy a Jaguar XJ in that price range haha.
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:33 |

helps when the interior is pure sex

Lexus make some fantastic interiors.
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:33 |

Yeah i was going to include the bentayga but something made me not. I guess that’s the ultimate LUXUV no?
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:36 |

they’re like chinese clones though. they look good till you touch them. Only the LX (and LS I suppose) have interiors that feel like they’re worth 100 grand.

I think it’s the fastest (180+mph) and the most customisable from the factory and the most expensive. So I guess it’s the ultimate. Some people take issue with the looks but it’s better than some out there.
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:40 |

it’s those stupid body colored caps on the DRLs
my god they’re the ugliest things I’ve ever seen in my life. If it just had the normal mulsanne headlight set up it’d have been so much better
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:44 |

If money was no object I'd pick the Range Rover, since the cost of repairs and maintenance wouldn't be an issue...
![]() 08/14/2016 at 15:44 |

I kinda see your point...
I’d say it’s just up there with the escalade and Navigatior
400 hp twin engined SUV for $85k, sign me up!
![]() 08/14/2016 at 16:12 |

Land Cruiser. Well, I'm in Canada, so LX that I'd get an LC fascia for I guess
![]() 08/14/2016 at 16:13 |

XC90 for my lady and Land Cruiser for me
![]() 08/14/2016 at 16:19 |

R-design T8 is around $80+k.... very attainable lol :] Waaaay classier, high tech, and luxurious than a Expediti.....err... Navigator. On our release event, the Mercedes and LR salesman came over to check it out. First words they said were pretty much always, “wow!” Especially for the average prices and what came with them.
![]() 08/14/2016 at 16:28 |

For SUV activities (soccer games, shopping): GLS or Bentayga
For 4x4: LR4 or RR or Land Cruiser
![]() 08/14/2016 at 16:47 |

Probably not. If they do it would be very gradually and not very noticable unless looking at a fairly large timeline. That or future safety regulations.

They are currently testing a 3rd gen right now

Well you had a diesel OR a v10
![]() 08/14/2016 at 16:58 |

Cayenne Turbo S. Driven everything on the list(except GLS...only driven the current gl). Cayenne is the most fun / ridiculous. LC for offroad duties is best though.
![]() 08/14/2016 at 16:58 |

yeah massive brainfart. had the v10 and it took gas, I was going to make reference to the TDI V10 in that post but didn’t.

So it’s a wrangler...in that it looks like the same thing but it’s vastly different underneath. I’m a ok with this.
![]() 08/14/2016 at 17:01 |

Only unlike the wrangler, this one is losing it’s solid front axle
![]() 08/14/2016 at 17:03 |

I like the first gen Turbo S, I was one of the few people that liked the first gen Cayenne in the higher up trims (lots of vents and gills and what not)

Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR.

Good choice. But something about the range rover’s interior doesn’t do it for me. I dunno what. but something.

I came everywhere. It looks SO good in Red.

I like the Volvo’s interior better (hard not to), but the RR’s isn’t bad, and money-no-object means it’s getting the full custom treatment. It’d probably cost almost as much as a 570S, but it’d be tasteful and elegant, yet personally and uniquely mine. British Racing Green is involved inside (only a bit) and out.
